I am creating this discussion forum thread to document post upgrade issues seen. Also to share fixes and lessons learnt from it.
1. S&OP Planning Area activated successfully but Supply Planning run is erroring out "Invalid production source for component xxxx and source ID yyyy: Invalid component key (Error code 6)" "Invalid key figure data for xxxxxxx Invalid component key (Error code 2)" etc.
Unconstrained Supply Planning used to work before upgrade.
2. Activation of SAP5 Planning Area errors out. Set it for deletion and activated so that it gets deleted completely but even then getting error "ERROE: some plan sets are inactive !!" Note there is no master or planning data created for SAP5 before upgrade too.
3. Inventory Planning Area (copy of SAP3) activation has multiple Warning but Error "Exception raised from InternalError: dberror(CallableStatement.execute: 129"
This seems to be a backend HANA issue duplicate key index found for planning area.
4. DELABANDONCOMBOS Planning Operator need to be created with your planning area as parameter. ALL_INCLUSIVE role does not have Delete Abandoned Combinations authorisation selected by default.
5. You cannot copy ALL_INCLUSIVE role unlike any other role, neither can you edit it. So you create new role with all the authorisations assigned to it but then saving the role is giving backend error.
