I have run satatistical forecasting in IBP 4.0
However I am finding it challanging in IBP 5.0 . Not sure where to confure it. We have been able to copy SAP_IBP_PLANNER_APP into our roles and the tabs for statistical forecasting and supply planning are visible in the IBP excel ribbon
When we go to statistical forecast it shows us the following window:
We selected the time period as Monthly. Howevr we couldnt get anything in the "Forecast Model" selection pane. It was blank. Then we tried to run it. We got a message stating "Select a profile".
We are not sure where and how to select the profile in IBP 5.0.. Request your help.

Hello,
I am trying to delete Master Data in IBP and I am having some troubles, in particular on deleting a Customer Product in the planning area SAP2.
I have tried both methods:
- 1. Deleting this relationship Cust-Prod from excel (Master Data-->Manage-->Single-->Customer Product--> Select both and delete--> Ok and Continue)
- 2. Deleting form User Interface (Data Integration-->New Import Job-->CustomerProduct (S2customerproduct) --> selecting the file and getting a "Success" message when deleting.
After that, I have checked in Master Data-->Manage--> etc that the Customer Product has been deleted successfuly but the issue appears when opening a New Planning view and showing any key figure (like Total Saleable Qty) at Customer Product Level. Here I still see the Customer Product Data I had previosuly deleted.
Is there any Consistency Check procedure in IBP I have to execute? Is there any step I am missing?

Hi All,
I have created a new Z master data atrributes in IBP Golden Demo web UI and Activated as well. When I go to my Custom planning area, I see the same attributes as 'Available attributes'. So when I select that atrributes and save it, it gets automatically moved to 'Available attributes' NOT to assgined attributes. Am I missing any steps here?

Hi,
I made an advance copy of SAP 3 planning area into my planning area. I activated the planning area. After that I uploaded successfully the time profile data, master data and key figures data into the planning area.
Now I tried to log on in the excel add-in but I am getting this error.
Server message:
code: 005
severity: ERROR
description: Cannot read time bucket data for planning area.

Framework message:
The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request.

Kindly suggest what can be the issue.

Hello,
I am working in a Scenario where I have 2 versions, Baseline and Inhouse and when I try to modify/save values in the Inhouse version I am having some troubles. The Planning Area is SAP2.
The initial status:
I do changes in Statistical Fcst Price for Inhouse version:
But when I press SAVE button the values disappear:
In this point I thought that the values were no saving properly but then I have introduced values for Total Saleable Qty for both versions:
And then when I execute a Profit Optimization or an Unconstrained the calculation is done well and values appear, including Statistical Fcst Price for the Inhouse version:
At this point I press again Save and I expect to get the values saved and shown in the screen but they disappear again for the Inhouse Version:
In my opinion it not related to Planning Level so I have done some tests showing values at ProdCust level and getting the same result
Also I have checked on the UI the definition of the Version and I see that the values are VersionSpecific.
Am I doing anything wrong?

It's possible copy a Template from one Planning Area to another?

I am facing challenge for Supply Planning in SAP IBP.
I am working on some custom KF.
I already mapped the demand data with Independent Demand, and other KF with standard KF like initial inventory.
But I have a custom KF which is sum of Open purchase Order and Inventory called KFTOTAL.
Now unable to map this custom KF with standard input KF require for supply.
Could anyone suggest also with which KF I will map this custom one so that I am able to run the supply plan.
Also to mention that i am trying to load custom kf data into standard kf .

Hi all,
Using HCI, I want to update most attributes from my Master Data on a monthly basis.
But for some other attributes of the same Master Data, I want to keep the values stored in IBP.
For example, in Master Data Product, I don't want to overwrite the attribute ABC classification (which was previously calculated by the IBP operator).
My first idea was to not map this attribute in my integration flow with an insert_update job but, even so, the values are overwritten with a Null.
The only option I can see is :
1) Export IBP Master Data into a flat file
2) Run my insert_update job using my flat file in a lookup to map this particular attribute.
Would anyone have a better idea how to do this?

I have copied SAP5 Planning Area and trying to get KPI: Ord Del Full Itm / Ord setup for display in Dashboard.
While trying to create Charts for adding in Supply Chain Control Tower related Dashboard, the chart does not get saved.
Has anyone successfully created Supply Chain Control Tower related KPI and Network charts for use in Dashboard?
Would like to know of any best practices, tips to create the same and get meaningful data displayed.

Hi,
We are extracting Data from SAP BI (On HANA).
Its very straight extraction but because the way cubes are designed in SAP we are facing performance issue.
Cube: ZPL_C46
Chars: 0APO_LOCNO, 0MATERIAL
Filter: Business Unit which is an attribute of Profit Center. Value = 1004 (Single Value), 0CALMONTH = Current Month (Single Value)
Output: Prod Location KF1 KF2
Now Cube has huge no of records and data is getting filtered only @ step 3 and that too is a join and not filtration.
this is a big performance issue.
Any other suggestion to extract data?
Solutions which I can think of:
1) Extract BI report from BO and use FF data load (additional development of report for all BI KFs: No performance issue, FF can be scheduled for network location)
2) Create OHD (Additional layer, database space, dependency on BI process chain against no performance issue)
3) Directly pass SID value (SID value will be diff in all D, Q & P --> Not a good design)

Hi,
I have configured my planning area with supply planning operators SCM. I have also provided right user entitlements so that the supply planning engine is available in the excel add-in for running.
I have also successfully generated the Consensus demand plan. Apart from this I've uploaded key figure data for customer ratio, location ratio,transport ratio, and also the mppings in PRODUCTIONSOURCE (i.e. LOC-PRD-SRC ID), PRODUCTIONSOURCERESOURCE tables.
The simulate button in the excel add-in shows unconstrained / constrained demand and supply planning. However, on running any of the options, the dependent customer / location demand qtys are not getting generated.
Request your guidance in this regard as I am unable to identify the root cause of the problem.

Hello All,
This is regarding Copy Version function with IBP Excel Add-in.
Using Manage -> Copy option from Excel UI, we are trying to copy data between Baseline Version into Upside Version, it errors out without any details on possible cause. Refer attached screenshot.
We are using IBPCONFIG user who has ALL INCLUSIVE role assigned. We are on IBP 4.0.2.1 - Support Pack 2 Patch 1(Starter Edition).
Appreciate if you share any input/experience in this regard.

One of our customer wants to change sourcing ratios as follows.
Current logic - Sourcing Ratio Maintained at @ CUSTID , PRDID and LOCID
New Logic : Change Sourcing Ratio to @ CUSTGRP , PRDLINE and LOCID where CUSTGRP & CUSTID and PRDLINE and PRDID are in Hierarchy.
Expectation is system to copy SAME value from @ CUSTGRP , PRDLINE and LOCID to @ CUSTID , PRDID and LOCID.
Reason for asking this change is too much data to maintain at @ CUSTID , PRDID and LOCID.
I tried various options and no success...
Any suggestions are appreciated.

We create and configure some Alert Key Figures which are working well in Excel Add-in. We can see them in Excel Dashboard when a exception appears. However we can't find any alert in WEB UI Dashboard Icon. We are working with a copy of SAP2 and we have this new Planning Area correctly assigned to our web user. ¿We should customize something more?

To import master data, I have created a task to upload data from a local CSV via HCI into SAP IBP. All my targets, mappings and the data flow into the staging tables validate "OK", but when I run the task from the projects tab I receive the following error:
